How are text and file hashes calculated?
Text is encoded as UTF-8. File mode hashes the original file bytes, with a 50 MiB file limit. Results are displayed in hexadecimal.
How do I calculate HMAC?
Choose SHA-256, SHA-384 or SHA-512, enable HMAC and enter a secret key. The key is interpreted as UTF-8 text and used locally in your browser.
